MOISTURE CONTROL
Moisture in a home can cause devastating damage. Bowles
Construction's Water Division not only removes water,
we detect the cause, and once fixed will repair the damages
left behind. We accomplish this by using state of the art
technology to ensure accurate detection, thereby saving
time and $$ on the overall job cost.
See how moisture can damage your home in the mold
remediation job below.
THERMAL IMAGING
WHAT IS THERMAL IMAGING?
Originally developed for night vision and other military
uses, thermal imaging technology has recently become available
to professionals in other fields, opening doors to new problem
solving tactics.
Every object radiates infrared light in proportion to its
temperature.
Hot objects radiate more infrared light than cold objects,
but humans can not see in these wavelengths.
HOW CAN WE UTILIZE THIS TECHNOLOGY?
This technology is used in the restoration industry to measure
moisture efficiently. We can quickly establish the source
of a water leak, or establish if a structure is completly
dry.
Instead of the numerous probes required by a traditional
moisture meter, we can see damaged area at a glance. What
used to take hours now takes mere seconds, with exact results.
HOW DOES THIS SAVE $$$
Traditional visual inspections require removing drywall
or exterior finish, then visually checking for damage. The
infrared camera is non-intrusive and requires no demolition.
This technology saves the technician time and effort necessary
to inspect a structure thoroughly.
This camera shows exactly where repairs, fans, and demolition
are needed.
