Chris Bowles of Bowles Construction, Inc., has been inducted into the Home Builders Association of Georgia's BUILDER HALL OF FAME. This lifetime achievement award was presented to Chris at the HBAG Annual Convention on August 11, 2001 at Perdido Beach in Alabama.

Chris was selected for his contribution and strong participation in the local, state and national Home Builder Associations as well as the remodeling industry. In addition, the judges for this prestigious award considered his industry accomplishments, participation in the community and personal sacrifice and service to HBAG in awarding him this honor. The judges for the award are past Hall of Fame inductees from around the state.

Bowles Construction, Inc. also received the Georgia Remodeler of the Year Award at the eighth annual Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence on June 1, 2001 at the Southern Building Show in Charlotte, North Carolina. Judged by the staff of Southern Living magazine, Sunset magazine and homestyles.com, the winners were selected from over 600 entries in over 30 categories covering all aspects of remodeling.

Chris and his brother, Greg, merged their construction companies in 1978 to form Bowles Construction, Inc.
